Cosmetic coloured lenses without power
Non-dioptric lenses are
contacts that won't correct your vision. They are used solely for cosmetic
purposes. For anyone who wishes to buy cosmetic lenses like these, it's
advisable for your eyes to be measured for a "plano" prescription, meaning one
with zero vision correction. A professional measurement beforehand will also
tell you which lenses should comfortably fit you, and which lenses won't.
How to Take Care of Monthly Colored Contact Lenses?
Monthly colored
contact lenses require special care. If you take proper care of your lenses, you
can use them for the entire month.
Let's start with the most important
rule:
Never use peroxide solutions on colored lenses as
they may damage the color effect of the lenses. When caring for colored lenses,
use only universal solutions.
When you purchase monthly
lenses, you don't have to worry about anything for the first wear. After opening
the blister, the lenses are ready to be placed on your eye. The countdown for
lens care begins after the first wear.
Once you remove the lens from your
eye, place it in your palm and apply a universal solution. Then, using the tip
of your finger from the other hand, rub the lens thoroughly for about 10
seconds. Rinse the mechanically cleaned lens with a fresh dose of solution and
then store it in a case with a fresh dose of solution. Repeat the same process
for the other lens. Never sleep with your lenses on!
Lenses can be stored in the case for up to 7 days; after that, the cleaning
process must be repeated. In simple terms, you must provide regular care for the
lenses through mechanical cleaning and storing them in a fresh solution. For
contact lenses with a 30-day replacement period, we also recommend
regularly changing the lens case, at least with every new
bottle of solution.
Disclaimer The use of different
universal solutions may vary. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for
the solution.

Air Optix Colors - Monthly Coloured Contact Lenses
Air
Optix Colors are monthly coloured contact lenses made by Alcon, and are a coloured
version of Air Optix Aqua lenses. This package contains two lenses (one
pair).
3-tone technology
Air Optix Colors use a unique 3-in-1
colour technology to enhance any eye color for a naturally beautiful and
stunning look.
Surface coating
Air Optix Colors lenses are made
from a silicone-hydrogel material called Lotrafilcon B, which provides a plasma
coating. This patented lens material is highly resistant to the adhesion of
deposits and impurities.
Air Optix Colors are designed for daily and
casual wear. However, they do not allow the option of continuous use. At night,
they must be removed from the eyes, cleaned, and stored in a lens case with
solution.
Final colour effect
The resulting change in your eye
color is influenced by many factors. Generally, naturally dark shades of the
iris are more difficult to change with coloured lenses than lighter-coloured
eyes. The colour effect produced by the lens is also influenced by the colour of
selected clothing and accessories. Lenses will also look different under
daylight or artificial light.
