Spectacle lens for the production of glasses
This spectacle lens is
the initial component to be ground into the spectacle frame. The lens can
therefore be purchased separately. However, all separately sold spectacle lenses
can be ground into any spectacle frame we offer. However, please be aware that
some spectacle frames have their limits. The same is true for spectacle lenses.
Some parameters or combinations of finishes cannot be defined because it is not
technically feasible.

Type of spectacle lens
Standard BASIC lens with a
refractive index of 1.50, suitable for diopters up to +/- 2.00. The lens has
extra hardening, an antireflective, super clean layer, UV filter and hydrophobic
layer in the basic equipment.
Transition spectacle lens
The
photochromic lens material responds to direct contact with UV light. Indoors,
the lens is clear, but when exposed to outdoor UV light, it darkens according to
its intensity.
