Spectacle lens for the production of glasses
This spectacle lens is
the initial component to be ground into the spectacle frame. The lens can
therefore be purchased separately. However, all separately sold spectacle lenses
can be ground into any spectacle frame we offer. However, please be aware that
some spectacle frames have their limits. The same is true for spectacle lenses.
Some parameters or combinations of finishes cannot be defined because it is not
technically feasible.

Type of spectacle lens
The ultra-thin COMFORT+ lens with a
refractive index of 1.74 is suitable for diopters from +/- 4.50 to +6.00 and
-12.00. The lens profile is 60% thinner than the base lens with a refractive
index of 1.50, therefore minimizing eye distortion. The lens has extra
hardening, anti-reflective, super clean layer, UV filter and hydrophobic layer
in the base lens. The lens material is clear.
Degressive (office) lens
A spectacle lens designed to correct presbyopia, reserved for indoor use,
e.g. in the office. The correction is targeted at near and medium distances,
which corresponds to computer work. The transition between the optical zones is
not visible. The choice of the correct viewing distance is very important.
You can choose from the following options:
Computer -
designed for viewing distance from 40 cm do 1,3 m.
Desktop - designed for viewing distance from 40 cm do 2,0 m.
Office - designed for viewing distance from 40 cm do
4,0 m.
Home - designed for viewing distance from 40 cm
do 6,0 m.
Basic surface finishes
The lens is equipped with an
anti-reflective layer, UV filter, hydrophobic layer, extra hardening and super
clean layer.
ULTRA optional finish
A coating that will further
enhance the durability of the lens as it will have a hardening and
anti-reflective finish in ULTRA quality. The spectacle lens will also have a
super clean layer, a hydrophobic layer, an anti-static layer and a UV filter.
You can select this ULTRA treatment in the table when you enter your diopter
parameters.
Blueblocker layer
A spectacle lens with blue blocker
technology that helps prevent digital eye fatigue caused by frequent use of
digital technology (computer, smartphone, TV, etc.). The lens material is very
gently tinted yellow, which can affect colour perception.
